Itinerary
- On arrival, you will be met by our English-speaking guide at the Katunayaka International Airport lobby.
- Then you will proceed to Negambo hotel. (Approx 20min / 15 Km)
- Dinner & overnight stay at Negambo.
- Stop 1: After Breakfast proceed to “Wilpaththu National Park”.
- Wilpaththu National Park
- Wilpaththu National Park is Located in 30km west of Anuradhapura, and to the South of Wilpattu. Wilpattu National Park has a good network of gravel roads, particularly between the water holes which are the best places to observe wildlife. A unique complex of over 50 wetlands like “everglades” is the most prominent feature of the national park jungle. Jeep Safari is the regular norm in exploring the Wilpattu National Park. The Leopard, Elephant, Sloth bear, Deer and endemic birds can be sighted during a safari.

- Stop 1: After Breakfast you will Meet “indigenous Veddas of Sri Lanka” in Dambana.
- The Vedda people are the last indigenous tribe still in existence on the island of Sri Lanka. Dating back to the 6th century BC, the Veddas inhabited the forests of Sri Lanka long before the Buddhists arrived. The Vedda ‘Forest People’ are unfortunately slowly becoming extinct but there are some reservations that can be visited and where Veddas show tourists their way of life.
- Stop 2: After lunch proceed to Yala.
- Yala combines a strict nature reserve with a national park. Divided into 5 blocks, the park has a protected area of nearly 130,000 hectares of land consisting of light forests, scrubs, grasslands, tanks, and lagoons. Two blocks are currently opened to the public Situated in Sri Lanka’s south-east hugging the panoramic Indian Ocean, Yala was designated a wildlife sanctuary in 1900 and was designated a national park in 1938. Ironically, the park was initially used as a hunting ground for the elite under British rule. Yala is home to 44 varieties of mammal and 215 bird species. Among its more famous residents are the world’s biggest concentration of leopards, majestic elephants, sloth bears, sambars, jackals, spotted dear, peacocks, and crocodiles. The best time to visit Yala is between February and July when the water levels of the park are quite low, bringing animals into the open.

- Sinharaja Rain Forest (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), the last viable remnant of Sri Lanka’s tropical lowland rainforest spanning an area of 18900 acres is located within Sabaragamuwa and Southern provinces of the south-west lowland wet zone of Sri Lanka. Sinharaja is bounded by rivers on three sides. On the north, Sinharaja is bounded by the Napola Dola and Koskulana Ganga. On the south and south-west are the rivers Maha Dola and Gin Ganga. On the west are the river Kalukandawa Ela and river Kudawa Ganga. To the east of Sinharaja is an ancient footpath near Beverley Tea Estate and by the Denuwa Kanda.

We require a 60% Advance deposit prior to 18 days of arrival, in order to place a formal booking. On receipt of the deposit, our team will commence booking your hotels and vehicles. Within 5 days of your advance payment, we will send your hotel confirmations, ticketing details, Driver/guide, and Vehicle details, along with other required details via our official reservation mail -reservation@bookingceylon.com for you to get an online visa.
The remaining balance of 40% will be due upon arrival.

Cancellations made 15-30 days prior will receive a partial refund.
